How to donate

Donations will be used for commemorative projects that celebrate, preserve, and inherit the achievements of Dr. Chyung Yil-hyung and Dr. Lee Tai-young, as well as for scholarships given to youths who will become the future of Korea. The details of the use of donations are disclosed on the website.

Tax Deduction Guide

If sponsored by an individual or a sole proprietor

Under the Income Tax Act, donations may be deducted within 15% range of the donor’s total income for the year.

If sponsored by a corporation

Losses and expenses within the limit of 5% may be recognized from the amount obtained by deducting the amount of losses from the income for the current business year. Pursuant to Article 24 of the Corporate Tax Act and Article 34 of the Income Tax Act, tax-free benefits may be received during the end-of-the-year settlement, and areceipt or payment confirmation will be provided upon request.
